1. Sizing Guide
The Biggest question you need to answer before buying a power bank is what size power pack will be sufficient for your needs.
Here are the questions you'll need to know:
- What are you powering
- How long do you need to power it.
- How will you re-charge it.
- What are you Powering.
Every electrical item uses different amounts of energy. We call this energy, Watts.
our suggestion is make a List of all the items that you'll need to power. We have a list of typical items and the average usage, however it's best to find the actual usage.
Usually you can fin the usage somewhere on the item. - Once you have a list of items, you need to know how long they are going to be used., This is called Watt Hours.
Watt-hours are calculated by multiplying the power in watts by the time in hours.
For examples:
A 60-watt light bulb used for 2 hours consumes 120 Wh of energy.
A 1200-Watt coffee pot but only use it for 15 min, that would be 300 Wh - Just like Generators running out of Fuel, Power Packs run out of Battery. So you need to recharge them. The typical ways you can re-charge the
